Privacy Policy

We collect personal and activity data, which may be linked.
We collect information you provide (some of it was formerly provided by Facebook) to enable you to link with your opponents in the leagues:
We collect your timezone so other players can see when you are likely to be playing. You may opt out of displaying your timezone if you feel disclosing it is a security risk.

We collect gender so we can personalise messages.

We provide links to your Facebook and Messenger pages using the Facebook ID you provide so that other players can contact you and send Facebook friend requests, which are essential to enable play on the official Scrabble app.

We collect the Scrabble scores you enter and use them to produce all sorts of statistics (that's the whole idea!)

We store an email address so we can help you if you lose your username or password. It can also be used to notify of you of various actions in the league but only if you opt in. You can control how it is used in the settings menu. Your email address is never shared with anyone else.

We store the amount and date of any subscription/donation you make.

We collect your IP address to help prevent personation.

You can request to see your personal data.
... but you don't need to. Everything we hold about you except your IP address, some subscription/donation info and (currently) gender is visible on the site.

We may keep data indefinitely.
We may keep data indefinitely, especially if you earn a place in our Hall of Fame.

We don't share your personal data with other companies.
We do not share personally identifiable information with companies.

No ad companies collect data through our service.
We do not carry advertising.

You can ask privacy questions.
If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policies, please post your question on the FSL Facebook page.
